Listing Errors & Troubleshooting

What common submission and GA4 error messages mean and what the seller should do next.

Most listing errors correspond to a missing field, duplicate website domain, image requirement, permission problem or Google Analytics connection state.

“Please complete every required field”

Go back through each step. Check required text/select fields, the 150–2,000 character description, required checkbox groups and the required main image where applicable.

“This business is already listed”

Sitehix found the same normalized website domain on another listing. Edit your existing listing if it belongs to you, or use the correct different domain.

“Please upload a valid main featured image”

Return to the Media step and choose a valid main image. When editing, a previously saved featured image normally satisfies this requirement.

“You are not allowed to edit this asset”

The current marketplace account does not own/manage the requested listing. Sign in with the seller account that owns it.

“Please sign in before adding an asset”

Your Sitehix marketplace session is missing or expired. Sign in again and reopen the sell flow.

GA4: “OAuth is not configured yet” / “Settings missing”

The Sitehix Google Analytics OAuth configuration is not ready. This requires site-administrator configuration; changing your listing fields will not fix it.

GA4 authorization could not be completed

Retry the connection from the listing owner’s account and complete the Google consent flow. If it repeatedly fails, contact Sitehix support with the exact message but never send Google credentials.

No GA4 properties found

Confirm that the authorized Google account has access to the correct GA4 property. The property-selection screen can also accept a GA4 Property ID when the property list cannot be loaded.
