Connect Google Analytics (GA4)

Eligible website listings can connect Google Analytics 4 after the listing has been saved. This connection is optional, uses Google OAuth and requests read-only Analytics access.

Before you click Connect Google Analytics

1. Sign in to the Sitehix marketplace account that owns the listing.
2. Create or save the website listing first; GA4 is a post-save action.
3. Make sure the Google account you will authorize can access the correct GA4 property.
4. If the page shows Settings missing, the Sitehix administrator has not completed the Google Analytics OAuth configuration yet; the seller cannot fix that from the listing form.

Connect the Google account

1. From the post-submit panel, choose Connect Google Analytics.
2. Sitehix sends you to Google’s authorization screen.
3. Choose the Google account that has access to the website’s GA4 property.
4. Review the permission request. The configured flow uses the analytics.readonly scope.
5. Approve the request. Google returns you to Sitehix.

Select the GA4 property

1. Sitehix loads GA4 properties available to the authorized Google account.
2. Select the property that belongs to the listing. The selector shows the property name and ID when available.
3. If no property list can be loaded, use the manual GA4 Property ID field when you know the correct numeric property ID.
4. Choose Save GA Property.
5. When successful, Sitehix shows Google Analytics connected / a connected status for that listing.

What connected GA4 can show

The listing analytics area can present read-only GA4 information such as Active Users, Total Users, New Users, Sessions, Engaged Sessions, Engagement Rate, Views, traffic-source data and top-country data when those values are available from the property.
