GA4 Property Selection & Troubleshooting
Manual property ID, missing property list, connected/not-ready states and every current seller-facing GA4 error message.
Use this guide when the Google authorization step completes but Sitehix cannot finish the GA4 connection.
Select Google Analytics Property
After Google returns to Sitehix, the property screen asks you to choose the GA4 property that belongs to the listing. When properties were loaded, choose the correct property from the selector.
Manual GA4 Property ID
The property screen also provides “Or enter GA4 Property ID”. Use the numeric GA4 Property ID only when you know which property belongs to the website. This is useful when Google’s property list could not be loaded.
Warnings on the property screen
- If Google’s property request failed, Sitehix may say that properties could not be loaded and ask you to enter the ID manually.
- If Google returned no properties, Sitehix may tell you to enter the ID manually if you can see it in Google Analytics.
- If Google returned an error message, the warning can include Google’s response text.
Current error messages

| Google Analytics OAuth is not configured yet. | Sitehix admin configuration is missing. Seller action cannot fix it. |
| Google Analytics authorization could not be completed. | Retry the OAuth flow from the listing owner’s active session. |
| No GA4 properties were found for that Google account. | Use a Google account with property access or enter the known correct property ID when the manual option is available. |
| Please select a valid Google Analytics property. | The selected/manual property could not be accepted; re-check the property ID and account access. |
Connected status
On success, Sitehix shows a Google Analytics connected status for the listing. If the connection is absent, the listing page should show a not-connected state rather than fabricated analytics.
