Edit Your Profile & Keep Your Account Secure

Use the profile editor inside your Sitehix account to control the seller/buyer identity shown by the marketplace. This profile is part of the custom Sitehix marketplace account system, not your WordPress administrator profile.

Open the profile editor

1. Sign in to your Sitehix marketplace account.
2. Open Account.
3. At the top profile card choose Edit Profile Picture & Description.
4. The About profile dialog opens.
5. Change the required/optional fields described below.
6. Choose Save & close.

Profile photo

Choose an image that represents you or your company. The UI recommends approximately 120 × 120 px. The upload must be a valid image. A bad/unsupported upload can produce the “Please upload a valid profile photo” error.

First Name

Required. Enter the first part of the profile name. The combined stored profile name must remain within the current server limit of 190 characters.

Last Name

Optional. Enter the remaining part of your name if you want it stored with the profile.

Hide last name

Tick Hide last name when you do not want the full last name displayed in the marketplace profile. The setting changes presentation; it does not mean you should enter fake account information.

Company Name

Optional. Enter the company/business name you want associated with the profile. Current server limit: 190 characters.

About Me (or Company)

Optional profile biography. Explain who you are, what your company does or the relevant background buyers/sellers should know. Current server limit: 3,000 characters. Do not place passwords, private financial credentials or transfer secrets here.

Country

Optional. Enter the country shown with your profile. Current server limit: 120 characters.

What the profile card can show

• Display name
• Company name
• Country, when supplied
• Profile bio, when supplied
• Profile image, when supplied
• Recent activity/last-seen information
• Member-since month/year
• Transaction-status text currently provided by the account interface

Profile validation

If the profile name is missing/invalid or any supported text exceeds its server limit, Sitehix can reject the update and ask you to correct the profile information.

Marketplace-session security

• Use a strong password you do not reuse elsewhere.
• Sign out when using a shared or public computer.
• Use the official Account page before entering credentials.
• Use Forgot Password instead of sending a password to support.
• Never put passwords, OTPs, recovery links, private API keys, card/banking login details or domain-transfer codes in profile text, listing descriptions, Hix AI or ordinary support messages.

Google sign-in

If Google login is configured, it is an alternative way to authenticate the Sitehix marketplace account. It does not replace the separate Google Analytics (GA4) connection used for eligible website listings.
